Orange Biscotti
1 1/2 cups butter
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
8 eggs
4 tsp. vanilla extract
zest of two oranges
7 1/2 cup all purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. kosher salt
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter, sugar & brown sugar. Slowly add eggs and vanilla extract. Sift all dry ingrediants, then add butter mixture. Line sheet pans with parchment paper. Form ingredients into log and chill until hard. Bake log for 22 minutes. Reduce oven to 200 degrees. Cool log 10-15 minutes. Cut 1/4 inch slices. Arrange biscotti on baking rack until dry and crisp.
